Adele’s “Someone Like You” Most Popular Karaoke Song In UK

UK Karaoke website Lucky Voice has named Adele’s “Someone Like You” the most popular karaoke song of 2012. Of course, we could’ve told them that. We’ve lived it. (Every one of us has a friend/is that friend who will occasionally get really, really, really drunk and feel compelled to weepily sing “Someone Like You” despite having no vocal range and not exactly remembering all the lyrics.)

Lucky Voice reports that Adele’s hit accounts for 7.4% of the 3.1 million song plays during the last year (the company boasts both bar and online services). Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” came in second with 5.4% and One Direction rounds out the top three with their debut single “What Makes You Beautiful.” Other artists on the list include Bon Jovi, Queen (because even in the UK, inebriated a-holes can’t not pick “Bohemian Rhapsody”), and, stupidly, LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It.” [NME]
