Adele's '21' Tops Billboard In Its 46th Week Out
For the 15th time since it was released 46 weeks ago, Adele's 21 is the number one album in the country, selling 123,000 copies. That tally brings her closer to six million total sold, and it shows no sign of slowing down. In fact, she nearly tripled the sales of the second place album, Drake's Take Care, which sold only 43,000 copies.
The question now becomes whether or not Adele can stretch her success past the year mark. There's only six more weeks to go, and there's nothing coming out that is a surefire commercial hit. Adele could be on the charts till the end of this year, for all we know. [Hits]
