Adele has never been one to shy away from questions of weight. Earlier this year, during an appearance on 60 Minutes, she told Anderson Cooper that the only times she thinks about her weight is when she reads about it in a magazine, or it's mentioned by someone else. While she explained to him that the criticism she receives has never bothered her or made her feel pressured to look any differently, her newly released book Adele: The Biography uncovers hurt feelings over YouTube comments.
More notable is the revelation that despite being upset by anonymous commenters, the only reasons she would consider losing weight are to improve her sex life or health, neither of which she says are an issue. [NME]
