Adele Tops Billboard Yet Again, Passes A Million Sold

While Adele's soul-pop might not be my thing, you sort have to root for her: She's just eclipsed the million albums sold mark for her 21 album, claiming the number one spot on the Billboard 200 with 88,000 copies sold. She beats back the charge led by Britney Spears from last week, whos Femme Fatale dropped 73% in sales to number two on the charts. The biggest reason to root for Adele, though? Without her 1.03 million albums sold, Mumford & Sons' Sigh No More would be the number one album of the year so far, as those chumps have 645,000 copies sold. So without Adele, who is stomping Mumford, we'd be subject to some pretty dire times. [Billboard]
