Adele Tops Billboard Again, Setting U.K. Sales Records

After a one week chart domination by Lupe "I'm Pretty Much The Older B.o.B At This Point" Fiasco, Adele's 21 is back on top of the Billboard 200, as the album moved 98,000 copies. Fiasco has fallen to number three with 47,000 sold, while Chicago punks Rise Against make their highest chart debut with Endgame, an album that sold 85,000 copies. 

The bigger news for Adele is that she is the biggest selling artist this century in the U.K., or at least she's made the most number one appearances. This week marks her ninth week at number one with 21, beating out the Beatles (!), who held onto number one for nine weeks in 2000-2001 with their 1 compilation. Adele is actually charting two albums in the top three in the U.K., which is even crazier. [Billboard & Music Week]
