Adele Is The Number One Billboard Artist So Far This Century
This is one of those stories that makes sense, and is totally true, but seems sort of premature: Thanks to topping Billboard for the 12 non-consecutive week this week, Adele is now the number one Billboard artist of this young century, as her 21 has eclipsed all other albums' runs at number one on Billboard. She isn't number one in total sales, obviously, but she has been on top of Billboard more than anyone else in 12 years. So yet again, Adele comes out on top. Somehow.
