Add Damon Dash to the list of hip-hop moguls in financial crisis

Former Roc-A-Fella records CEO Damon Dash is reportedly facing foreclosure on his two homes in Tribeca after being sued by Eastern Savings Bank after not paying the mortgage on either of the houses since January. The combined mortgage payments for the properties is $78,000 a month. Dash also reportedly owes $2 million in back taxes to the city of New York.
Dash is the second early-‘00s hip-hop heavyweight to face financial problems this summer, after Scott Storch’s money issues became public.
