According to Spinner, AC/DC is working on a musical for Broadway, tentatively titled Long Way To the Top. More hard rock-friendly musicals are not necessarily unpredecented—the Queen musical We Will Rock You was a success in London. Generally, however, more masculine musicals that serve up greatest hits material have unilaterally failed, such as the Elvis, Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash musicals. Yet, this may be the most unlikely product yet, marrying the band of choice for bikers and jocks across the country with the Great White Way. At least it will attract some straight single men to a musical.
