AC/DC debut at number one

AC/DC’s Black Ice will debut at number one on the charts tomorrow when the Billboard 200 is announced, as the album has moved 784,000 copies in its first week.

Black Ice’s first week sales figures are the second highest of the year behind Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III, which moved 1,005,000 copies in it’s first week. It’ll be AC/DC’s first chart-topper since 1982’s For Those About to Rock, We Salute You. [Billboard]
