First No Age exploded from The Smell, and now Abe Vigoda could be the next big thing to emerge from the diy punk rock venue. After touring with the aforementioned No Age and High Places last month, Abe Vigoda is striking out on their own, with Diplo, Telepathe and Boy 8 Bit on the Mad Decent tour, kicking off October 16. At first it looks like a strange bill, but Mad Decent is an eclectic label specializing in everything from Baltimore Club to Dancehall, with their most recent release being the all-over-the-map Top Ranking Santogold mix.

Before they leave California, Abe Vigoda will be playing a couple shows with Vampire Weekend and The Faint. The schedule:
