Ab-Soul Says There Will "Never" Be Another Black Hippy Record

Southern California crew Black Hippy launched four hip-hop stars to fame, but it looks like the boys won’t be getting back together anytime soon. Ab-Soul, one quarter of the group, claims that he and his fellow Hippies Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q are done for good. When asked by HipHopWired if the quartet would ever record again, Ab-Soul responded, “No, never, ever! Fa real, seriously.”

Ab-Soul claims, however, that he’ll still make an appearance on good kid, m.A.A.d city, Kendrick Lamar’s debut solo full-length, due out October 2 via Top Dawg/Aftermath/Interscope. Watch the full interview below. [HHDX]
