Put a whole lot of different artists in the same place, and a lot of interesting cross-sanguination will inevitably occur. In the case of this weekend's Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, that has meant everything from Thom Yorke and Flying Lotus collaboratively reuniting to -- as Billboard reports -- A$AP Rocky getting his first taste of the Dirty Projectors. The Brooklyn-based group caught Rocky's ear, and after a minute of listening, he told a fellow A$AP Mob member to write the band name down and asked, "What do they make? Reggae?" Forgive Rocky for not being able to immediately place David Longstreth's surreal musical apparatus; few have, and they are pretty unique. The Dirty Projectors, on the other hand, know their way around hip-hop, as the video below attests.
