A$AP Rocky Announces ScHoolboy Q Collab Mixtape, Recalls His First Rhyme

Now that A$AP Rocky is well into the hip-hop mix, we're beginning to get more talk about the regular collaborations we'll see from him, and in a recent interview with Exclaim!, he shared word that we can expect to see a full collab mixtape with ScHoolboy Q alongside the upcoming A$AP Mob compilation.

Yup, me and Schoolboy Q. That's going to be trill as fuck. A$AP X TDE. [No release date] yet, just an idea. A good idea.

A$AP linked up with ScHoolboy on his LIVELOVEA$AP tape on the track "Brand New Guy," and last month we saw the pair work "Hands on the Wheel" from ScHoolboy's Habits and Contradictions, so there's little question that the duo are building a strong chemistry together.

That aside, A$AP recalled the first rhyme he ever wrote:

I didn't write it down, it was off the top. It was my first time rapping, eight years old, my little sister was born... the first line was [rapping] "Asia don't play with no games/I smokes the weed and I am the shame." I don't know what that means, but it rhymed.

There's plenty more in the interview, so hit the jump over to Exclaim! to check it out. Keep a lookout for more news on the ScHoolboy collab. You can watch his video with ASAP Rocky, "Hands on the Wheel," below.
