A Tribe Called Quest Documentary, ‘Beats, Rhymes & Life,’ Hitting Theaters In July

We will finally get to see what all the hubbub is about surrounding Michael Rapaport’s A Tribe Called Quest documentary as it’s set to hit theaters in July. According to Billboard, Rapaport plans on bringing Beats Rhymes & Life to 32 cities across the U.S. with New York City and Los Angeles as his first stops on July 8.

From there, it will apparently premiere in up to 10 cities at a time on scattered dates. The film will open in San Francisco, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. July 15 and then San Diego, Boston, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, and Atlanta the following week. The final week of premieres is Aug. 12, when cities such as New Orleans and Indianapolis will host the movie. And for anyone hitting up the Tribeca Film Festival in New York today, you can catch Beats, Rhymes & Life there, too.
