A handful of M. Ward tour dates

Start working on your Chinese translations, because Post-War troubadour M. Ward might be coming to a town near you. If you live in six select cities, that is. Ward's mini-trek will start in Park City, Utah, where the film The Go-Getter, which Ward scored, will be premiering. Ward will wind up with two dates in California with opening act Victoria Williams. Does she ever perform "Crazy Mary" live?

She actually did perform "Crazy Mary" at the first Paste festival. It was cool.

Nice to have M. Ward in Utah after he being skipped on his last tour, but the show he is scheduled to play is a let down for the fans here because you can't get in with out the right pass. Bummer!!! Wish he would make another show available for his true fans not just for the elite social scene that pops in once a year.

[...] The good folks over at the magazine The Fader are going to start releasing limited 7″ color vinyl split singles. First up: M. Ward’s “Magic Trick” (Kansas City Remix)”, which features help from My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, paired with Ladyhawk’s “Soap.” The series is being sponsored by venerable spirits company Southern Comfort. Vinyl fetishists interested in snagging a copy can head over to the mag’s website for details on how to do so.            [...]
