81% Of All iTunes Music Is Never Played

Do you fill up your iTunes library with music you never listen to? You’re not alone: According to a recent study, the average iTunes library has 5,409 songs, but 4,195 of them never, ever get played. Seriously: 81% of all songs in iTunes never get played. Which seems nuts, but can’t be that off, if there are inconsistencies–for instance, when you transfer computers, the play list goes back to 0. The point of the study, done by MusicWithMe, was to prove that most people don’t need a music cloud. Point taken, I guess? [DMN]
