71-Year-Old Downloads Johnny Cash, Wins $10,000 Gift Card For Downloading 10 Billionth Song On iTunes

On Wednesday, Apple gave a $10,000 gift card to Louie Sulcer, 71-year-old resident of Woodstock, Ga., as he downloaded the 10 billionth song from the service. Sulcer was downloading "Guess Things Happen That Way," a Johnny Cash song that he didn't have on his iTunes (he estimates the only Johnny Cash song he didn't have). Sulcer bought the track to play on his Nano, which he got from his kids as a birthday present. Obviously this is a much better story than if your 12-year-old neighbor won it for downloading "I Gotta Feeling," so much so, that Steve Jobs, Roseanne Cash and many, many media outlets have been blowing up Sulcer's phone in congratulations. Great story. Almost fishy, in a way.
