50 Cent Sued For Copyright Infringement
Apparently 50 Cent might just be as guilty of stealing music as the Black Eyed Peas? That's what an Atlanta rapper named Tyrone Simmons is alleging, claiming that 50 Cent swooped in and stole the instrumental for "I Get Money," after Simmons had purchased the beat from producer Apex. Simmons alleges 50 knowingly took the beat right from him, but I'm sure 50's people will say they were unaware of any deal for the beat. Simmons is seeking unspecified damages. [Aux]
