Sometimes, it seems like we're bound to have the same arguments re: Eminem that we've had for 13 years: There are debates sprouting up all over Twitter and music blogs after 50 Cent Tweeted the following:

Does Eminem being white help Em movie units? Probably. But this debate would have made more sense in 1999, when Em's first Interscope album was a juggernaut. I mean, Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III was one of the biggest albums of the last three years, a mount even Eminem's Recovery couldn't top. What do you guys think? Do you think no black artist is going to sell records like Eminem again? Or is 50 just bitter because he won't be the artist to beat Em? [Real Talk]

If I spent 5 seconds thinking about this, it would be 4 seconds longer than 50 Cent thought about it before he tweeted it. Come on, guys, the random inanity that spews from that guy's twitter feed doesn't really qualify as "music news".

Lol I think recovery outsold carter 3. If I remember correctly he at 5 mil WW. By the end of this year it will leave c3 in the dust. So once again 50 speaks the truth. But let's think bout this, how many whites bought c3???

em sold 5 mil on recovery world wide, wayne sold 3.5 mil in US, i think if wayne had more promotion in other counties he would top em, not sayin em is a bad rapper, cause them to are my favourite
