About five days after anyone cared, 50 Cent has finally announced that he is donating his proceeds from a concert he did for Qaddafi's son to Unicef. 50 performed for Qaddafi's son way back in 2005, during the Venice Film Festival, for some reason, and is donating an unspecified sum--how much he was paid is unspecified too--to the charity. Here's what 50's spokesman said about it:
“In light of the ongoing events in Libya, 50 Cent will be making a donation to UNICEF, which is providing vital relief supplies to meet the needs of women and children at risk during this crisis.”
50 joins the like of Mariah Carey, Usher, Nelly Furtado and Beyonce in donating Qaddafi money. [Aux]
