50 Cent is no stranger to lawsuits--only this time it's him who's looking to sue. According to The Miami Herald, the Queens rapper is filing a lawsuit against Sleek Audio LLC for an unpaid $285,000 promissory note he lent the company in 2010. Fif partnered with Sleek for his "Sleek by 50" wireless headphones in the same year, but terminated the partnership back in May.
He claims that the company had promised to begin to repay the loan once they reached $750,000 in revenue--an amount that was apparently met in February 2011. However, Sleek are alleging that once 50 teamed with SMS Audio, the loan was nullified since he "purposely omitted and misstated information during their negotiations with intent of fraud," according to the suit.
50 is not only trying to recoup the initial $285,000, but is seeking an extra $61,419 in back interest, as well as an additional 15 percent for any future unpaid debt.
