400gb of Nine Inch Nails video footage now available to download

Trent Reznor may be threatening to take Nine Inch Nails off the road for the foreseeable future, but that’s not stopping him from sitting back and enjoying highlights from the band’s last tour. According to a posting on the official Nine Inch Nails website, Reznor has been contacted by a group of fans who secretly shot some impressive high definition footage of the band. That footage is now available to download, for free, via a BitTorrent client of your choosing.

Reznor says the footage is “raw, unedited HD footage from three separate complete shows of our Lights in the Sky tour. Security must have been lacking at these shows because the quality of the footage is excellent.” None of the shows have been edited, and a post on the Nine Inch Nails forum suggests that downloaders might want to flex their own editing skills to put the footage together.

A warning on the forum states: “As the files are tremendously large, don't expect any instant gratification - the download may take days, even weeks.” Links in that forum post will take eager downloaders to the torrent files, which are for shows shot in Victoria, Portland and Sacramento.
