While Avicii was performing at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Saturday, 29 people were unfortunately sent to the hospital for drug and alcohol illness. 10 of those people were taken out before the Swedish DJ took the stage. One individual has been arrested on drug charges.
The following morning, Toronto city counselor Giorgio Mammoliti blamed Ink Entertainment, the event’s promoter, for making the show an all-ages event. Mammoliti has his sights set on billing Ink Entertainment for EMS charges. Avicii is currently on tour supporting his debut album True.
