Grammys 2011: Winners

Indie culture is still spinning with the news that Arcade Fire won the Album of the Year. I guess we did it? We've won, somehow? In a world of collapsing record sales, decreased artistic risk, and let's face it, weak competition, we've risen to the top. Let's go riot or some shit!

 

But there were plenty of other awards given out (allegedly), and some of them didn't go to Arcade Fire. Something named Esperanza Spalding won best new artist, which is a stick in the eye to Drake and Florence and the Machine, both of whom who have faults, but are Best New Artist worthy. Muse won best rock album, which is good, since they could have been nominated for best alternative album in an alternate universe.
