Throughout last evening’s Grammy Awards, we all bitched, moaned, laughed, and then, in some cases, celebrated together. And even as we poked fun at some of the night’s weaker performances and ghastly attire, there was one thing we definitely all had in common: We were all watching it. Well, a lot of us were as the award show had its best ratings since 2001. That is, at least, what the preliminary numbers from Nielsen have indicated. Apparently 26.5 million viewers had their eyes locked on this year’s Grammy show. This is a minor increase from the 2010 Grammy Awards, which brought in about 25.8 million viewers. Credit goes to Gaga and Bieber, I would think.
