Initial lineup for 2008 CMJ Festival announced
Bands and artists scheduled to play CMJ include Broken Social Scene, Deerhoof, Beach House, Jay Reatard, Lee “Scratch” Perry, A Place to Bury Strangers, Gang Gang Dance, and about a billion others. Details about the film festival will follow shortly and information on panels for the event can be found here. “A New Media Fat Trimming Session” conjures up a picture of various media moguls doing Pilates, which is a most unwelcome image on a Thursday afternoon. the CMJ 2010 lineup has already been announced! i have no idea why there is barely any information on it anywhere, but if you want to see the lineup go to http://cmj.com/marathon/ it looks really good this year.
