Mogwai Scoring Film About Boat Made From NYC Garbage

So yeah, Scottish rockers Mogwai are set to score an upcoming movie called Hudson River Project. It’s being directed by Antony Crook and was written by cyclist James Bowthorpe, the latter of whom the film will follow as he rows down the Hudson River on a boat constructed entirely of trash picked from New York streets. The moviemakers have opened a Kickstarter page to raise funds.

The soundtrack will apparently also be released as a Mogwai album. Additionally, the film is said to contain an interactive component by Ben Tricklebank, the creator behind Arcade Fire’s Wilderness Downtown piece. Below, watch a trailer for Hudson River Project. [P4K]
