Zola Jesus: "Vessel" (Video)
Niki Roza Danilova will release her latest album, Conatus, tomorrow. It's her third album in as many years, a time-span that has been mighty kind to the 22-year-old. There's a good reason for that, of course. Her songwriting continues to impress, as do her superb vocals. Both of these qualities are on full display throughout "Vessel," a Conatus single that now has some insect-related visuals. Yes, you read that correctly. She apparently wrote the track while having some wild dreams, which are symbolized here by the imagery surrounding the white-banded sphinx moth you see in the video.
