Zola Jesus: "Vessel" (Live On In My Room) (Video)
While we didn't exactly love Niki Danilova's latest Zola Jesus album, Conatus, as much as her previous releases, we still liked a majority of it. That's especially true in terms of the record's lead single, "Vessel," which she's given another boost with a performance for Yours Truly and MTV Hive.
The two music sites have joined forces to create the online music series In My Room. And this week, they have invited Danilova and her band to the studio, erm, room for an intimate performance. And just as "Vessel" soared on Conatus, it does the same within the confines of a smaller space, which actually allows for much thicker bass than we're used to hearing from Danilova.
