At right around five feet tall, Nika Roza Damilova a.k.a. Zola Jesus still cuts an indtimidating figure live. "Trust Me," a track from her recent Stridulum EP, hints at the way her voice easily fills out any room she's in for those who have not experienced feeling sad, warm, frightened and hopeful at all once.
While Damilova may be seen as the unlikely new face of gothic R&B, she's in her element on her newest near-perfect EP. No matter what your taste, It's time to listen up.
