This version of Zola Jesus' Stridulum-closing "Run Me Out" imagines the song as a desolate, wind-swept piano ballad. In some respects, this acoustic version, out now on a Sacred Bones comp, is more in line with Zola's back catalog, except for the fact that you can clearly hear what's going on here. There's very little adornment, but there's not a lo-fi fizz and fuzz. It's a good one, as you can usually count on from Zola Jesus. [Fader]
