Zola Jesus might now be mostly based in L.A., but while back in town before her North American tour, the pixie-sized opera new-waver recorded a session for local studio Blast House and their Soundcheck Sessions. Zola leads her band through a stellar take of "Night," one of the excellent tracks from her Stridulum EP. It might be recorded in a studio, but this could level a stadium.
