“Zap” (Prod. Black Milk)

In less than a month, two of Detroit’s biggest hip-hop talents — Danny Brown and Black Milk — will drop a joint EP, Black And Brown. And although we already heard the title track on last year’s Album of the Year, the rest of the release is completely new. That includes lead single “Zap,” which just hit the web.

It finds the duo in their perfectly weird, always-on lane as Black Milk weaves a head-nodding, psychedelic beat for Brown. The pill-popping MC continues to showcase why he’s one of the best doing it right now with internal rhymes about Frank Zappa and, later, giving a chick a pearl necklace. Stream and download the track below.
