Yuck: "Soothe Me"
As we previously reported, Yuck's self-titled debut will be released as a deluxe edition in a few weeks. It features a bonus disc filled with leftover tracks and B-sides, including previous leak "Cousin Corona" and this new slower-paced jam "Soothe Me." Folks who aren't down with Yuck's '90s-lifting sound will probably turn up their noses at this. But teens and college kids just now discovering that stripped-down indie rock sound will no doubt fall in love. Personally, I'm stuck in the middle, as their songwriting leaves me feeling nostalgic and yearning for the early '90s again.
You can stream "Soothe Me" below. The reissue of Yuck drops Oct. 11.
