So today was supposed to be the day that TM103, Young Jeezy's much-anticipated fourth album, was supposed to drop. Barring a miracle, it doesn't look like that's going to happen: the albums' release has been pushed back once again.
"Amen" leaked last night and is available for download over at DirtyGloveBastard. Like "Rap Game," another Shawty Redd-produced joint that leaked earlier yesterday, "Amen" is Jeezy in his dour, joyless, ride-or-die mode. Admittedly this kind of stuff is Jeezy's bread and butter, and the song will offer some consolation over fans seething another TM103-less day. But I like Jeezy more when there's a smile evident in his snarl, when he shines some light onto his shadowy world.
