Yo La Tengo

"Here to Fall" (Live on Don't Look Down) (Video)

Average Rating: 9.00

New Jersey indie rock O.G.'s Yo La Tengo recently took to a rooftop in NYC to record a session for Pitchfork TV's Don't Look Down, doing a hazy take of "Here to Fall," the opening track on their 12th studio album, Popular Songs. The song has a late-period Zeppelin vibe, especially with the watery bass line and the organ blasts. The best possible locale for a live performance of this song is amidst tall buildings, so this is a perfect fit. [Pitchfork]

Really fawesome. I almost gave it a 10, but then second-guessed myself. I'm glad I picked up this album, it's taken very good care of me.
