Yeasayer began the New Year with a show in Chicago on New Year’s Eve, which gave them a chance to loosen up and detract from the promotional duties for Odd Blood for a brief period. But who had the band pegged as Alanis Morisette fans? This faithful version of “You Oughta Know” actually doesn’t sound out of place in their set, and Anand Wilder—perhaps giddy from too much champagne, or maybe a bona fide Alanis fan—is really going for it during his vocal delivery.
