Yeah Yeah Yeahs: "Zero" (MSTRKRFT Remix) (Stream)

MSTRKRFT isn't really known for producing "elegant" remixes (with maybe the exception being their remix for Annie's "Heartbeat"), rather the duo tends to opt for sonic bombast and kitsch-y clubtronica with, like most remixes, mixed results. This remix for Yeah Yeah Yeahs' track "Zero" finds MSTRKRFT doing the usual; the only presence that the original has on this track is that of a ghost, with Karen O's vocals chopped, twisted, and distorted almost beyond recognition, and made subject to MSTRKRFT's demented studio gimmickery.
