Yeah Yeah Yeahs: "Zero" (Live on Letterman) (Video)

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are practically living in our TV sets at the moment, and “Zero” is fast becoming a staple of late night television programming. They performed the track again on the Late Show with David Letterman last night, with Slint/Tortoise/Zwan man Dave Pajo again filling keyboard duties. Pajo later tweeted: “I missed watching our performance on Letterman tonight, ooops!!”

Each of these televised performances suggests that Karen O has toned down her on-stage antics, although it may be a different story in a small, sweaty club environment. Stick around at the end of the song to hear Paul Shaffer embarrass himself by describing Karen O as “rad bad.”
