Yeah Yeah Yeahs: "Zero" and "Maps" (Live on SNL) (Video)

Yeah Yeah Yeahs performance of "Zero" on SNL (from their surprisingly greatIt's Blitz) is eerily similar to the band's performance of the track on Jools Holland last week; Karen O is wearing the same studded leather jacket, Brian Chase grins throughout ther performance, and Nick Zinner plays the brooding guitar god. The sound mixing wasn't too bad, except it seems like the synth sequence is a bit loud in the mix. Instead of doing another It's Blitz track, the band played "Maps," which is still the band's best song, even if it has been overplayed in the five years since it was released. The mixing for "Maps" was also kind of rough (the guitar sounded like it was underwater), but it would take a lot to screw up the song beyond repair.
