The tour of late night TV studios undertaken by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs continued last night (April 15) with an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The sound at Late Night isn’t great, and Karen O’s vocals sound a little too loud in the mix, but otherwise it’s a fine performance of one of the strongest tracks on It’s Blitz.
There’s some awkwardness between Fallon and the band as he leaps on stage at the end, which is fast becoming a recurring theme of the show. The list of musical guests since Fallon took over has been impressive, but it seems to be taking a long time for him to ease into the talk show host role.

I'm still waiting for them to bust out Skeletons or Hysteric. Those ones have the potential to be Maps killers. |

It's strange that they're not touring in the U.S. Lots of European dates lined up, but only a few festival dates here. |

I think they're still filling out the tour for the U.S. There's kind of a block in between and after their sets at the festivals in June. You have to figure they'll be hitting the U.S. hard at some point. |

even though this is the best song from their album, this performance is kinda poor. vocals far from perfect, the way she dances is funny but ridiculous^^
