YACHT: "Psychic City" (MP3)

The new YACHT material that's surfaced so far for their upcoming DFA premiere, See Mystery Lights, doesn't quite match the disco/house obsessed output of that label, but "Summer Song" and the new "Psychic City" certainly sound more accessible than Jona Bechtolt's solo creations. The track is actually a cover of an obscure K Records release from the 80s, by Rich Jensen, but the song's influences don't stop there; the song was also inspired by Outkast, Althea and Donna's Uptown Top Ranking, and R.
