WU LYF: "We Bros" (Young Montana? Remix)
Instead of simply releasing a cut from their very good Go Tell Fire to the Mountain as a single, WU LYF chose to rework one of their tracks. The somewhat mysterious collective of musicians went back into the studio and churned out a new version of killer jam "We Bros" for digital and vinyl release. They also reached out to a pair of similarly eclectic producers, S.Maharba and Young Montana?, to remix the track. Here, we have the latter's take on "We Bros," which retains the original's youthful energy while injecting huge doses of burbling, whooping synthesizers and off-kilter percussion.
You can stream the remix below. The single is out now on iTunes and drops on vinyl Nov. 8.
