Woods’ Songs of Shame is one of the best albums of 2009. The record has been released on the reliably excellent Woodsist label.
This short clip for “Where and What Are You” is barely a music video at all; instead, it’s a simple shot of a pen circling various clues on a crossword puzzle, ultimately producing a doodle that’s difficult to discern. It may be the most low budget promo clip of all time, and Will Shortz would no doubt take a dim view of such crossword puzzle abuse.
