Wolfmother: "White Feather" (Live on Kimmel) (Video)

The members of Australian hard rockers Wolfmother have endured some troubled times of late. Original members Chris Ross and Myles Heskett left the band last year, leaving singer/guitarist Andrew Stockdale to pick up the slack with a new lineup. His new album, the wonderfully named Cosmic Egg, is the first fruit of their labors.

Last night (Nov. 24) Stockdale gave us a taste of his Cosmic Egg by performing “White Feather” on Jimmy Kimmel’s show. It’s business as usual—big cheesy riffs, large hair, a whiff of patchouli oil and endless guitar solos. “Why did Carrot Top get a band?” is one of the cruel but amusing comments under this YouTube clip.
