It took me till about the halfway point of this video for Wolfmother's "Far Away" to remember that this isn't a Flight of the Conchords routine. It's not: There is a dude playing a mirror piano in the jungle surrounded by a variety of hobbits, and this is deadly serious. That's sort of the charming part about Wolfmother: There's no pretension here. Mirror pyramids are not a joke: They are for real.
This song comes from the band's largely ignored sophomore album, Cosmic Egg, which I remember reviewing but thought came out in 2008. It came out exactly six months ago, which somehow seems impossible to me. Doesn't say much about the staying power of this stuff, I guess.
