I'm not sure what I expected when it was announced when Wolfmother would essentially just be lead singer Andrew Stockdale, but Stockdale's version of Wolfmother has a new song available for download, "Back Round," for the price of a fake phone number and e-mail address at Wolfmother's web site . The song is, quite predictably, a slice of Led Zeppelin-influenced classic rock, and mostly boring. Seriously, this band is exciting in so much that they sound like Zeppelin, but most of the time I feel like throwing on Physical Graffitti instead of listening to them. [via Stereogum ]
