Wiz Khalifa's laugh at the beginning of his MTVU Woodie Awards performance might be cringe-worthy, as is that yellow streak in his hair. But he's actually not that bad live. The music itself, particularly "Roll Up," isn't especially noteworthy, but Wiz's confidence is contagious. Likewise, it's difficult to not get slightly into "Black and Yellow," even if we have all heard it at least one million times. I still think Rolling Papers will be a middling affair from what's leaked thus far, but it's refreshing to see that he can deliver a decent performance.
