Willis Earl Beal: "Take Me Away"
Chicago's Willis Earl Beal firmly caught our attention in early January with the release of his first single, a touching, tender tune called "Evening's Kiss." Since then, we have been itching to hear new material from this outsider artist, who will make his XL Recordings debut on March 20 with Acousmatic Sorcery.
And after reporting on his upcoming tour yesterday, we know have a new Beal track to share with you. "Take Me Away" is a raucous, spirited tune steeped in the blues that's far removed from the aforementioned "Evening's Kiss."
