Actress Michelle Williams is noted for playing complicated characters in her many well-regarded films, and she gets to bring that dramatic gravitas to the music video for Wild Nothing's "Paradise." The song, taken from this year's Gemini, bops along in an atmospheric haze, perfect for a video that shows Williams slowly flying from airport to airport (with a pink Walkman, to boot).
Williams even adds her own touch to the song by recording a special monologue specifically for the video. Reading from Iris Murdoch's A Word Child, she intones a few phrases while the video pans out on a cloud bank. Watch the Matt Amato-directed video below.
